Very disappointed with whole experience. No table dressings, food was minimal. Although some of the cakes were nice the scones were dry and only fruit ones supplied. It was for my mom's 80th and there was no special touches at all. Won't be returning.

Taken for a pre-Christmas shopping weekend by my daughter. Hotel pleasant, room clean and beds comfy. On direct bus route into town. It was a pity we could not get into our room on arrival at noon - we had to leave our overnight bags in the 'luggage room' (secure) and picked them up after an exhausting day of shopping when we were both fairly shattered! Very good breakfast with delicious continental pastries/fruit/cereals and a wide choice of cooked food. Staff all very pleasant.
Hasn't changed over the past three years since last I was there. Old fashioned luxury that is not expected or required these days. Food was fine.
