Perhaps the most scenic restaurant in Shrewsbury overlooking the river. Lovely Mediterranean food. Don't be fooled by the small simple menu online. A set menu is available which is brilliant value yet offers quite a few interesting options. Don't understand why it's not full of people. It must be the low key online menu (the set menu is not online)? Very highly recommended!
One of, if not THE, best places to eat in Shrewsbury. Outstanding food, outstanding environment, outstanding service, superb prices and excellent portion size.A mix of different food on offer, from light bites to full Sunday Roasts, everything I've tried and everything my dining companions tried was close to perfect. It's just as good for a quick lunch or a three course evening meal.Literally cannot recommend highly enough.
Smart modern bar and restaurant in a central riverside setting. Friendly service and great Italian cooking at reasonable prices. Traditional English dishes as well. I had a Sicilian fish stew which was superb. The two or three course set lunch menu was excellent value. Highly recommended.
Last minute booking with the tastecard. Pleasantly welcomed and seated, great service throughout, nice food, good quality wine. But just not quite 5 stars as I felt the dessert offerings were lacking, nothing grabbed me. Would definitely recommend though! Very good and pleasant staff too.
This is our favourite restaurant. Very central to Shrewsbury town centre and overlooking the river. The food and service are excellent with a good menu to choose from and the seating arrangement is comfortable without feeling hemmed-in. It's very popular even midweek and last night was busy, which made for a really nice atmosphere to celebrate a birthday. We were a party of 8 people and our orders were all delivered together, nice hot dishes of good proportions. The staff are really pleasant and attentive, so worth the discretionary 10% service charge. We look forward to our next meal there.
