Want to just say think its appalling that all reviews on here relate to the restaurant. It's a garden centre and there's other places nearby to eat!! I went today for first time. I've been wanting to visit for ages. My aunt lives nearby. Place was good. Although you need to take care of larger outdoor plants as the Welsh winds had blown some over. Overall it's a lovely place great choice of plants and value for money on flowers. As well as good selection of gifts. For those complaining about food. Well you should have had the baked potato!! Just saying. Dobbies just one request. Simplify your menus and it could be cheaper.
Disappointing restaurant. Busy but understaffed with not a smile from anyone. Food very overpriced and sandwich came with a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato that was shaken that hard to get it off the others that it was just the outer skin and 1 slice of cucumber. Wow! Great location but management need to consider value for money and a visit to Bents at Glazebury for ideas. At present - way off the mark.
Booked in to see Santa and the mad Elves and i just want to say what a fantastic time we had, our two kids loved every miniute.2nd year for us so highly recommended. Santa is Brilliant with the kids and to see there faces beaming was fantastic and those mad elves really top off the experience. Well done everyone , 5 stars and see you next year
Staggering refreshment prices eg,canned drinks coke etc1.80,at least twice shop retail.Had the Xmas loyalty coffee with free mince pies...mince pies identical in size and appearance to supermarket mince pies retailing 6 pies in a box for 1.00.Noted these pies being offered for sale at 1.50 each.PHEW!!!.
Called today for lunch and was very disappointed. Two of us had The Festive Lunch and have to say for 9.95 it was a complete waste of money. Carrots that weren't cooked sprouts that could smash windows and frozen roast potatoes that were tough skinned with no taste whatsoever. My wife had the macaroni cheese that was like rubber and returned to the Restaurant and had a baked potato with a sprinkle of cheese and a hand full of beans. I have to say that we were very disappointed and couldn't recommend this place.
