Could not take popcorn in but it's a nice novelty cinema. Saw Mary Poppins there and it was completely full! A very lovely and classy atmosphere.
Fantastic old building in the centre of Town where You can have drinks and snacks in one half of the building or go to the cinema in the other half or combine the two. Seating is really comfortable, the screen superb and the sound good and u can take drinks in. You may not want to get too near the front although the atmosphere is great. Outside your surrounded by restaurants, parking in the town may be a bit tricky if your not local.
Great little cinema and cafe/bar.Good selection of films you can watch in comfort. Gets booked up very quick.Cafe food is good but the layout gets a bit blocked when films are on.Very limited toilet facilities.
Overall the Old Market Hall cafe/cinema venue is a delight to visit. The main entrance is undercover. From the reception area there's a staircase and a glass sided lift. In the cafe area there's a booking office and access to toilet all on one level. Staff are attentive and the cafe is perfect for chilling out. Cinema seating is comfy. This is a good facility.Enjoy
Loved everything. I rarely have coffee out as generally it is poor, theirs was excellent. The home baked cakes were fantastic and sandwiches on quality fresh bread with ample fillings, superb.Looking for value for money, well this is it.
