Without doubt the best Indian in Shrewsbury. Taj & Staff are really friendly and will always attend to your needs. Highly recommended the North Indian Garlic Chilli Lamb and love trying their free taster which varies. The takeaway is always spotlessly clean and that goes for the kitchen too. Please give this takeaway a visit and you'll understand why it and Taj have won so many awards
The Bayston Hill local Indian takeaway. Locals well be fiercely loyal to this place, with good reason. The food is...delicious. When ordering a takeaway, one will often receive an extra poppadum and perhaps even a free sample of whatever is spare at the time , a "taster" dish. Their food is cooked well and with care. The people at front of house are polite and attentive. For example, my wife spent some time speaking with them whilst ensuring her order was vegan friendly (it was, they spent some time clarifying with the chefs on this important matter)..There is a delivery option, but I've not used this. The format follows general takeaway establishments; there's a counter where one orders food, with a few (quite comfy) seats and a TV to watch or newspapers to read if you forgot your mobile device. Clean and pleasant. I understand this is an offshoot to an establishment elsewhere, possibly Birmingham (?), but I know not of that place. I can vouch for at least one of their delivery drivers being an awesomely nice bloke, he gave me a lift home once in the pouring rain. So I'm smitten by these guys.

Still going strong. Fantastic reliable delicious Indian takeaway. My favourite is the Lamb Rogan Josh. This is my favourite Indian takeaway by far and great value too.There was also a vegetable curry I tried which was amazing as normally I can't eat food without meat in it but it just worked.Curry day at Mahim's is always my favourite day of the week.
