What shocking customer service!!!!!!! I called there today and chose a meal deal from the far corner of the shop consisting of a chicken banquette a bag of crisps and a bottle of water costing a total of 3.60. When I got to the till I was charged 3.79 when I questioned it the girl snapped "you picked up the wrong water"! unbeknown to me there were two different waters in the meal deal section of the fridge (why you have to ask) one in the deal one not? when I politely asked should she not have pointed this out she shouted I cant choose your stuff!!!!! next a much older member of staff who was up a ladder stacking shelves started shouting "good god we cant be expected to choose his drink for him" Unbelievable most members of staff at a well run shop point out if your items are not included in a deal to assist you and show curtsy to customers . I have never seen such poor staff!!!!! The chicken baguette incidentally was fantastic .
I can only comment on the food to go selection as we went to get some lunch. Fantastic choice, baguettes were gorgeous and I am now a proud member of cake club!
Always fuel available, the shop is quite large and offers everything from hot pastry items and coffee to fresh local meat.
